Following much buzz about the play “War Horse” at The Tony’s, we’re now getting our first look at Steven Speilberg‘s film adaptation of the celebrated novel about the bond between boy and horse.

Based in rural England and Europe during the first World War, “War Horse” tells the story of a friendship between a horse named Joey and a young boy named Albert, who tames and trains the animal. When Joey and Albert are forcibly separated, the film takes viewers through the journey of the horse as he travels through the war, changing the lives of the people he meets including British Calvary, German soldiers, and a French farmer and his granddaughter.

“War Horse” hits theatres December 28, 2011 — check out the full trailer below!

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin called into “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Thursday to talk about the new single “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall,” the Glastonbury Music Festival, and when fans can expect the new album.

Fans have been patiently waiting for Coldplay to release their fifth album. The album is not finished yet, but here is what Chris had to say about the completion of the album. “The only thing I can tell you is that it is difficult. It’s hard to finish, it’s like trying to get to the final of “American Idol,” and you know how hard that is.”

“In all honesty I think it will be finished in about two weeks time. I really hope so, we’ve worked a long time. All I know is that we have tried as hard as we can on this one.” Chris says.

Coldplay’s new single is titled “Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall.” Chris gave us a little background behind this song.

“We were missing a song about two months ago and I was watching this movie called “Beautiful” which has Javier Bardem in it. In this film he goes to a club and there are these two chords playing in the background and I was like ‘Oh I’ve got to use them.’ So, we called up the people that wrote the two chords and then later a new song came from it. That is how it happened. We added some more chords, some words, some melody and some stuff like that.”

There were rumors that Coldplay will be opening the 2012 Olympic Games, “We are doing 400 meters and the 100 meter relay,” Chris joked.

“I don’t think we are, I don’t know,” Chis said, squashing all rumors of Coldplay being locked in to play the opening ceremonies for the summer games in London.

Chris cites that his inspiration for songs comes from different sources, “It could be someone being mean, or it could be someone being fantastic, or it could be something on the news, or anything that just makes you feel alive.”

Last weekend Coldplay performed at the Glastonbury Music Festival, an overseas music festival that is like an uber Lollapalooza. Some of the other headliners included U2 and Beyonce.

Chris had this to say about the experience, “Glastonbury was not that bad. Beyonce was incredible, U2 was incredible, the whole place was incredible.” Chris even offered Beyonce some words of encouragement.

Coldplay’s new single “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” is available on iTunes.

Heidi Montag joined “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Thursday to discuss Kristin Cavallari‘s wedding invitation snub, she also reveals what advice she gave runaway bride Crystal Harris, and lastly details how she lost the 20 lbs. she gained during production of Vh1′s “Famous Foods.”

Kristin Cavallari Reveals Who Is Not Invited To Her Wedding [AUDIO]

When last in studio Kristin Cavallari gave her reasoning for not inviting Heidi claiming, “Heidi changed her number, and I can’t get ahold of her.” Today Heidi responded by stating “I twittered her a congratulations [on her wedding] and everything. I really like Kristin, but we aren’t super close friends. Plus it’s also too far away, and I don’t even know when she’s getting married! I didn’t get the phone call…so…whatever. I couldn’t go anyways. I think her [wedding] is more like hooking up her single friends, and I don’t need to be. I’m married.”

More recently, Heidi was spotting partying with Hugh Hefner‘s runaway bride Crystal Harris on her wedding day in Las Vegas. “That day was really hard for her. It was really hard for me even to get her there, and to smile. Trying to get her to hold her head high.” When asked if Heidi gave Crystal any advice, “Yes! I told her to follow her own heart, and no one can judge her and tell her what’s right. She knows whats right for her own life, and it is her own life, and you only have one.”

Meet Hugh Hefner’s New Girlfriend [AUDIO]

Heidi also gave us an inside look at her upcoming Vh1 show “Famous Foods” saying, “It’s mayhem! We need to build a restaurant from scratch. We need to find a concept, agree on it, and build it while competing independently, but we have to work collectively as a group too. Thats what was so difficult! Everyone wants their ideas to stand out, but you have to work together. We have to hire a chef, his staff, and at the end you have the potential of winning some ownership in the restaurant.”

During production of “Famous Foods” Heidi claims to have gained 20-30 lbs., but was able to quickly drop the weight due to “working out from 5 am until around 7 pm, and I would do about three to four hours of cardio on the treadmill a day. I also do a lot of lunges, jumping jacks, push-ups, and sit-ups. A lot of situps. I was doing almost 1,000 situps a day!

Danielle Staub Reacts To Teresa Giudice Visiting Vh1 ‘Famous Foods’ Set [AUDIO]

Heidi outlines her next television conquest would include two popular programs on two different networks, “I think it would be fun to do ‘Celebrity Apprentice‘ [with Spencer]! I think they should do couples on that. You know girls vs guys. We wouldn’t be competing together, we should be competing against each other. I want to do ‘Dancing With The Stars‘ too, but I would have to get into extra-extra good shape. I would love to do ‘Dancing,’ but I would want to do it with a girl, because they never do a same-sex dancing. I think it would be fun.”

This video created and directed by JW Griffiths depicts an interesting first-person perspective of two lovers who seem worlds apart (New York and France) making their way to close the gap and reunite.

From the many similarities of the daily routines in both metropolitan areas such as morning coffee and paper, to taking the subway and other public transportation, it was very apparent by the small differences (English traffic signs vs. French traffic signs, the seating arrangement in the subways and architecture) in the areas that gave away their distance from one another.

The screens eventually begin show similar areas in London, and finally result in the two meeting each other on a bridge.

The short film was shot entirely on a Nokia N8 mobile phone, and was dubbed winner of the Nokia Shorts competition 2011 presented by Vimeo.

Dance producer and DJ superstar David Guetta stopped by “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Thursday to talk about his new album, his collaborations, and how he became an American sensation.

Black Eyed Peas hit single, “I Gotta Feeling” was 5th on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade and it became the first song in digital history to sell over 7 million digital copies in the United States, this was no an accident.

Will.i.am one day sent me a text message, I was really not famous in America, but because he was spending time in Europe he heard my music and I heard after that he was looking for me. There is a record shop for DJs, called Beatport, he met with them and said ‘Do you know this guy David Guetta and how to reach him?’ So, imagine I am just a European DJ and I receive an email, ‘Hi, this is Will.i.am, do you want to make music for Black Eyed Peas?’”

Guetta continues, “At the time hip-hop artists working with electronic artists did not exist. It’s kind of weird because I wanted to do this, I had record with Kelly Rowland “When Love Takes Over,” and this record with Akon, almost at the same time as “I Got a Feeling.” So, I said ‘That is it, that is what I want to do! I want to create that bridge between urban culture from America and electronic culture from Europe,’ but I had no idea it was going to become this thing of American pop music.”

Fergie & LMFAO Rock Out In David Guetta’s “Getting Over You” [VIDEO]

Guetta’s collaboration with Akon on smash hit “Sexy Chick” literally happened overnight, “We were playing on the same stage in London and he came to me and said ‘I love your music,’ ‘I love your music too, let’s go into the studio,’ and we made the song.” Guetta says.

Guetta’s new album Nothing But The Beat drops August 30th, it will feature collaborations with 50 Cent, Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Timbaland and more.

Guetta’s current single “Where Them Girls At” is climbing up the American Top 40 chart. Guetta, 43, happens to be the oldest artist on the American charts, but yet he is able to stay plugged into the sounds, energy, and pace of that youthful culture.

“I’m a DJ first. I do like 150 gigs a year and the people that I have in front of me, their 20-years old. Even the DJ’s and young producers that inspire me, this is their age and I still work with new guys all the time. It is very important to me, so we can learn from each other.”

“I discovered a guy called Afrojack, 2 years ago. This is an example of me staying in contact with the younger generation, and the underground DJ’s and parties. I still play on a regular basis in clubs. Because I still want to be able to also play underground music and see what is going to come next. Because this is my inspiration, the real clubbers.” Guetta explains.

David Guetta’s single “Where Them Girls At” is available on iTunes and the new album Nothing But The Beat comes out August 30, 2011.

With the help of oversized bubbles with a discerning eye for hot women, internationally-known DJ David Guetta is on the hunt for hot women in his new video for “Where Them Girls At” featuring Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj.

Shot recently on the streets of Hollywood, CA, the video opens with Flo Rida rapping poolside while a giant bubble makes dancing machines out of hot women in bikinis. We later find Nicki rocking a leopard hat and short blonde bob inside a club while spitting not only fire in her verse but also spouting bubbles galore.

Interestingly, the Examiner reports that Nicki Minaj’s verse on “Where Them Girls At” almost didn’t happen. The 26-year-old rapper told Us Magazine that she nearly turned down the song in light of the volume of guest verses she’s done on other artists’ tracks. Her mind was changed in Paris when the two met in Paris, France and Flo Rida played the track for her.

After unveiling his debut solo single at the end of last month, Joe Jonas has finally premiered the video for “See No More” exclusively on “E! News” showing off a more mature side to the former teen heart throb.

The video reflects the emotional, dark nature of the single in every way, setting Joe inside of a barren house haunted by the former flame that is the subject of the song. When Joe stopped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” to talk about the song, he suggested “See No More” was indeed written about ex-girlfriend and “Twilight” star Ashley Greene.

“I don’t want to name names,” said Joe in the interview.”Because then I think people are not going to be able to say ‘Hey I can relate to that’ if I say it, but they can determine who it is.”

Joe Jonas Suggests Split with Ashley Greene Led To Emotional ‘See No More’ Lyrics [AUDIO]

Expanding more on the tone of the song, he said “It’s an end of a chapter song. It’s about a break-up and going through situations where everything reminds you of the person.”

But what heartbreak video is complete without an interpretive dance scene? Joe has it covered with a beautiful dancer who padebures around under a stormy night sky.

So can Joe hold his own without being flanked by his brothers? Let us know in the comments below!

Teen starlet Selena Gomez called into “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” on Wednesday to chat about her new album, going on tour, her movie “Monte Carlo,” and Justin Bieber.

We all remember where we were iconic news stories broke such as the death of Michael Jackson or when you first heard that Britney Spears had shaved her head.

Selena tells us where she heard the breaking news that boyfriend, Justin Bieber had been “attacked” outside Macy’s in New York.

“I was working when I found out. Because I found out through people, I guess it went everywhere because it was a public thing. So, I found out immediately while I was working which made it even worse, because I couldn’t be there,” Selena says.

Justin Bieber was completely fine after the “attack,” as it turns out the alleged attacker was actually an undercover police officer, who was just trying to protect Justin and get the crowd under control.

Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez Romantic Getaway [AUDIO]

Selena had a bit of a scare herself recently when she was rushed to the hospital after taping an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

“I was low in iron,” explains the 18-year-old singer. “Because I eat a lot of pastas, I don’t eat enough protein. I had to get a blood transfusion for more iron, it was that bad and I was just dehydrated.”

Good news, Selena is in good health now, and she is feeling great! She will be embarking on her first tour this summer.

Recently it was reported that Selena won’t wear Justin Bieber’s new fragrance “Someday” anymore, because his mom wears it and Selena doesn’t want to smell like Justin’s mom and she feels the scent is more for his fans anyway.

Selena puts this rumor to rest, “No, I think it actually smells very good. Everybody should definitely check it out, it smells beautiful.”

“I’m excited, I’ve done a lot of concerts, but I have never been able to have a creative control over it and it is something that I’ve worked really hard on,” says Selena. “I’m excited to kind of let my fans see me in a totally different light. I’m going to have wardrobe changes for the first time, dancers, effects, lights, I mean I have all the really cool stuff.”

During her show fans will get to see Selena perform a tribute another Disney alumni, Britney Spears. “I don’t want my whole set to be about me, i want to kind of break it up a little bit. So we are doing this whole kind of Britney mash-up to get the party started.”

Fans will no doubt get to hear Selena’s love yourself anthem “Who Says” off her album When the Sun Goes Down. Selena gives us a little insight into this hit.

“I feel like I obviously have an amazing platform, so being able to use that platform for songs like “Who Says” is really amazing and more than anything, because that song to me was really empowering and I’m going through the same thing with all the stuff on the internet and everything. So, it’s just one of those songs that makes you feel good and it’s just really affected my fans and it makes me feel really good.”

Another song on the album that is creating a lot of buzz is “Bang, Bang, Bang,” Selena explains the message behind this song.

“It’s not like an ‘I hate you’ song or an intense break-up song, it is almost a positive thing. Okay, this person was in my life, they weren’t necessarily what I needed, but now I’m happy, now I’m good, now I’m in a different place. So, it’s really fun and really cheeky, and it’s just a different twist, and a different way of saying ‘I’m over you.’”

If a new album and tour weren’t enough, Selena’s movie “Monte Carlo” opens in theaters this Friday, July 1. Selena had a bit of a challenge for this role, She not only had to memorize her lines, but she also had to deliver them in a British accent after she is mistaken for British heiress while her and her friends are vacationing in Paris.

Everyone should go see this movie, Selena tells us, “Even if you don’t know who I am or if you do know who I am this movie is really sweet and I worked really hard on it and Corey Monteith, this is one of Corey’s first movie’s that he’s ever done. he just was great in it, it’s just a sweet movie.”

“Monte Carlo” also stars “Gossip Girl” stars Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester.

Selena’s new album When The Sun Goes Down is available now on iTunes and “Monte Carlo” is out in theaters this Friday, July 1.
