In a rare appearance as the interviewee, broadcasting legend Larry King was in studio to talk about his mystic powers on the morning he announced the end of his nightly CNN talk show.

King broke the news to the world Tuesday night that he is hanging up his suspenders after 25 years of the show to spend more time with his wife and two sons. In the interview that morning with Ryan, he hinted to this huge change in his life but overall kept mum saying, “I can’t talk about it yet.”

What could become his next lucrative career, King put on display his “psychic powers” saying his extra sensory abilities are at times “a curse,” yet he graciously agreed to perform dream analysis and readings on many callers to the show.

Larry made predictions for our listeners such as “stay away from anyone named Phyllis”, and dream interpretations indicating that one caller secretly longed to work in a zoo.  Another caller was informed that she was in love with her brother-in-law; Larry advised her to spend some alone time with the man at a “Coffee Bean.”

His clairvoyance ran the gamut from what horse to bet on at the track, to advising some people to dump their mate and find another. It seemed that there was nothing King couldn’t predict! And he seemed to get quite a kick out of doing so.  Our phone lines lit up with listeners wanting Larry to look into their future.

Elaborating on the negative side of his talent, King exclaimed: “I wish I didn’t have it! It’s a curse to know what you’re thinking right now…it drives me nuts! If I knew where it came from, I would get rid of it!”

What was so particularly exciting about King’s interview on KIISFM was that we were exposed to a side of him most people had never seen before. Gone was his rigid, broadcaster persona and in it’s place was a funny, sneaky, jokester. His predictions made us all laugh and wonder if he really does have a “sixth sense.”

Though Larry has spent 53 years in broadcasting, he still loves it, and told Ryan he would jump at the chance “in a minute” to partner with him and do an impromptu morning radio show.  The two hosts exchanged ideas about the potential for their future together, with Larry even inventing a new stage name for Ryan, “Atlanta Seacoast.”

Working with CNN, King claimed to miss “humor. I don’t get a chance to do humor, so that’s why I go do stage performances.”

Don’t forget to tune into the last episodes of “Larry King Live” Monday through Sunday 9pm PT/ET and 6 pm PT on CNN!
