The ‘most beautiful’ gal in the world Jennifer Lopez helped America find their most recent ‘Idol’, and now she’s setting out with hubby Marc Anthony and celeb tour director Jamie King in search of Latin America’s most talented in their upcoming show “¡Q’Viva! The Chosen

The Simon Fuller/XIX Entertainment created series, which means ‘long live,’ will document the trio and their mission to ultimately “assemble a cast of incredible performers of all nationality and create a spectacular live show which will become one of the greatest celebrations of Latin culture that the world has ever seen.”

Marc expresses in the trailer below, “we don’t know what’s out there but we have made a pact to go on this journey to uncover the world’s most extraordinary talent.” A journey which consists of the trio traveling for three months to “places people wouldn’t normally look [for talent], where all of this rich talent lives and wouldn’t normally be discovered.”

As for how they’ll find the ‘world’s most extraordinary talent’? Marc adds, “we’re not holding auditions. We are literally being guided by the people — we might find talent because a local says ‘you have to hear this kid down the road’…and we’ll go and seek him out…we’ll leave no stoned unturned.”

For Jennifer, the show offers, “[the ability] for the first time to unite all of the Latin cultures and make something that makes everybody proud.” Adding, for her personally, the ability to shout: “I am Latina, and this is who we are! Isn’t it fabulous? Isn’t it amazing? Doesn’t it bring tears to your eyes and make you want to dance and smile and jump and stay up all night?”

Jennifer, 41, also stresses the show as, “it’s global and it’s local.” Adding, “we’re going to do our best to make the most amazing show that the world has ever seen.”

“It’s completely different to anything you’ve seen before,” explains Jamie. “This is not about competition, it’s about finding great talent, cultivating that talent and sharing it with the world.”
