Hurricane Irene has devastated many parts of the East Coast! The horrific effects of the gusty winds and flooding will be felt for months to come. Every person along the East Coast has been effected by the disaster, most took it seriously, but some people still managed to have a little fun amidst the chaos. A gas station is almost half way under water in Millstone, New Jersey. You can hear the harsh winds take over as people are capturing this unforgettable moment. It is astonishing to see the storm at the height of its power!

In this video The Weather Channel‘s Jim Cantore reflects on the devastation to his home state of Vermont. He reveals it is “heartbreaking” to see almost the entire state entirely underwater.
