Singer Kelly Clarkson calls into “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” this morning to discuss her excitement for her new single “Mr. Know It All” and what her fifth studio album will entail.

“It feels pretty fricken awesome,” says the Season 1 “American Idol” winner when asked what it feels like to hear her single being played on the radio. She tells Ryan that “It feels like it’s the first time [she's ever] done it [music].”

“Mr. Know It All” is different from any of her other singles because the message is not just about relationships. Even though Clarkson admits she has a list of people that have brought her down, she states that the song is also about ignorant people who think they know everything about someone.

When asked about her fifth studio album, coming out October 25th, she compares her new album to today’s new trend of music: “It’s a really nice old pop before they had that stuff to make you sound like a robot.”

The album’s overall theme is of empowerment and strength with a record full of anthems that will make us want to stomp our foot on the ground when belting out the lyrics!

Kelly will be performing at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. We can’t wait to hear what other chart-topping hits she’ll be coming out with!
