It’s been nearly a decade since America experienced the tragic events of 9/11. A museum and memorial has been constructed at the historical “Ground Zero” site and will be dedicated on September 11, 2011, the 10th anniversary of the attacks. It will then be open to the public starting September 12.

Amazing Hurricane Irene Footage [VIDEO]

A beautiful aerial rendition of what the finished 9/11 Memorial and Museum, and new World Trade Center will look like has been released. When completed, the newly constructed World Trade Center will be the tallest building in the U.S. Five skyscrapers will surround the memorial and two reflecting pools will located where the Twin Towers once stood. The whole site will be surrounded by a sustainable forest of trees grown within a 500-mile radius. The names of people killed in the attacks in 2001 and 1993 will be stencil-cut into the bronze walls surrounding the pools, so that light will shine through at night.

Watch the beautiful aerial view of the memorial and museum below and let us know your thoughts!
