“Knocked Up” comedian Seth Rogen called into “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” this morning to give us the inside scoop of his new comedic movie “50/50” about a true account of his friend being diagnosed with cancer.

Seth tells us his very childish wish for his wedding next month to longtime girlfriend Lauren Miller: “I told her I wanted arcade games…a Sunday bar…and I realized I have the same sensibilities as a 12-year-old boy.” Sounds like a fun-filled wedding that we’d want to go to any day!

Played by “500 Days Of Summer” actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the character Adam discovers a tumor in his spine and attempts to deal with the cancer-ridden disease. While the film shares a true story about Rogen’s best friend, they transform the story into a comedy since in real life, they “dealt with it through humor.”

He describes his now 6-year cancer-free friend that he lived life to the fullest, including continuing going to bars, getting with girls, and having a job. As a comedic writer, the “Pineapple Express” actor describes how they tell the story, and how well his friend is doing after being cancer free for six years.

“Out the 100 emotions people go through in a situation like this, movies generally tend to focus on 2 or 3 of those emotions…we kinda wanted to try to include everything that we went through.”
