It’s no secret that our boss Ryan Seacrest is a uncontrollable foodie, delighting in everything from game day chicken wings to Golden Globes confectionaries (all in between his famous juicing kicks). The man’s mouth is unstoppable and ostensibly good at two things: talking and eating.

Thus, as the web watched the astronomical rise of Pinterest — one perfectly-crafted panini photo at a time — we knew it was only a matter of time before Ryan adopted the new destination for sharing the best in food and more.

First, let’s take a step back for those lost souls who are still in the dark about Pinterest. It’s the web’s latest social media obsession and like its real world predecessor the pin board, Pinterest is inspiring millions of women around the world (and a few guys) to be cook creative new dishes, dress with a stylish flare and get their hands dirty with a little D.I.Y. magic.

Growing from roughly one million visits in August 2011 to 17 million today, Pinterest is expanding faster than Ryan’s waistline at a food truck rally and it’s showing no signs of slowing down. Mashable reports the company received $27 million in venture funds and it’s quickly becoming a top traffic driver for high end retailers including Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman.

Starting today, Ryan and the trend hunters on his team will bring followers exciting new pins covering a multitude of themes from simple gift ideas to complex grilled cheese recipes and even the best in fashion (houndstooth anyone?). We’ll cover the best of celebrity red carpet styles, keep you informed of the web’s best D.I.Y. tutorials, new tech gadgets and interior designs that can transform any house into a home.

Are you a Pinterest power user? What kind of photos would YOU like to see on Ryan’s profile? Let us know in the comments section below!
