Kelly Urich played a clip yesterday afternoon…and you heard right…that’s none other than OUR hometown idol, David Cook, with his take on the old Simple Minds song “Don’t You Forget About Me.”

Rather than giving it a different take like he did with Lionel Ritchie’s “Hello,” or Mariah’s “Always Be My Baby,” he covered it pretty straight on…and it’s PRETTY GOOD!  Listen below…

Just kidding.  Kirstie, you’re a star too.  Just a high-maintenance, crazy one.  And that WILL be fun to watch!

Here’s the complete list of the new cast.

It’s been awhile since us Gen X’ers had a James Van Der Beek moment in Dawson’s Creek or Varsity Blues.  Thanks to “hot mess of the week” Ke$ha, we don’t have to wait any further…she’s put him into her latest music video for a cameo!

After his second angry tirade on a radio talk show, CBS has pulled the plug for the season on Charlie Sheen’s sitcom “Two And A Half Men.”  Sheen, who is still under contract for the series, is reportedly REALLY ANGRY, and has supposedly told gossip website RadarOnline.com that he’ll go do his OWN show on HBO.

Stay tuned.  I’m not sure how this is going to play out…but I’ll bet it’ll be more entertaining to watch than an episode of “Two And A Half Men” EVER was!

I’ve seen tween girls with huge crushes on some of the TEEN guys on Glee…but I’ve seen FAR MORE grown women who are “hot for teacher” with their own little crushes on Matthew Morrison, who plays Mr. Schuester on Glee.

Sorry ladies.

It looks like Mr. Schu is dating Olivia Munn, who’s currently starring in the NBC show “Perfect Couples.”  They were recently spotted together at Madison Square Garden watching a New York Rangers game.

(Ladies…be nice…avoid pulling out the claws, please?  Thanks.)

We’ve all heard Justin Timberlake started his career (just like Britney Spears – to the left) on the Mickey Mouse Club, but it’s probably been YEEEEEEEARS since we actually saw his work.  That is, until today!

Here’s a great video of Justin and fellow MMC’ers (including RYAN GOSLING) with their take on Boyz II Men’s MotownPhilly.  Indeed, MMC had it goin’ on…not too hard, and not too soft.  Take a look!
